Their story
The wedding pictures tickles your heart, that undeniable feelings is wonderfully captured by Eric Tan of Eric Tan Gallery. The couple must be a fun loving couple with a great sense of humour as they feel and look so good together. So we started with a candid question. Any drama encountered during your wedding planning?
“We are both from Singapore, culturally pretty much identical, however when it comes to wedding, the difference were poles apart. Between us, we talked about wedding every now and then and compromises have to be made to get things going. The wedding turned out to be the sweetest thing both of us could ever do for each other and we really enjoyed it!”
The venue
“It was held a t Intercontinental Singapore and it was chosen largely because we had the whole ballroom to ourselves with a quiet and cozy set-up just right outside the ballroom for the solemnization ceremony.”
The theme
“There wasn’t a major theme and we just wanted to keep it simple. Most of the setup (tables, chairs, flowers etc.) are white. Our inspirations for the wedding came from the songs we have put in for the first and second march in. the songs have meant a lot to us.”
The attire
“I found the right one on the third bridal studio we went to. We both liked the designs of the gowns and Jeff from La Vie Bridal was really impressive with his ideas. My husband had bought a blue jacket from another retailer to match my pink gown for the second march-in.”
Tips & advice
“You aren’t going to plan out a dream wedding out right from the beginning – it’s all the small little steps along the way that gradually makes it perfect. This works for everything else in life. You just have to realize that.”
