Vendor Spotlight: Academy Florist
While there are many brides who do want a traditional round bouquet, we're seeing more and more brides asking for something a bit different, whether it be a different shape, different combinations of colours or flowers, or adding in cool accents.
Kasia's bouquet was truly unique - a red rose composite bouquet! These bouquets take hours to create, and the result is truly worth it - layer of petal after petal make for a one-of-a-kind look.

Laura had a pink and pearls theme for her wedding, so along with some really unique flower combinations (garden roses, blushing bride protea, celosia), Academy Florist wrapped the handle in strands of pearls, allowing the pearls to cascade down.

Ashley's summertime bouquet featured the colour of the year - peach! But aside from the trendy flower choices, she wanted to bring in personal touches with special brooches on the handle and right in her bouquet.

Shantel's bouquet was a simple and unique combination of soft pink garden roses with paper doilies - the result was really shabby chic with a textured feel.

Last but not least, Tara's bouquet incorporated thick wire that was hand-wired into a "cage" that the flowers were built into. Large oversized pearls were added in. Check out more of this wedding in an upcoming issue of WeddingsInWinnipeg.ca!
